Ferrex Chainsaw Chains
Replacement chain for ALDI's Ferrex chainsaws — the 20V cordless mini chainsaw (CCS20VA), the 53 cc petrol CSP5300 and the 6-in-1 multi-tool pole saw. ALDI sells the saws as Special Buys and replacement loops are hard to find in store, so we keep all three sizes. Which chain does your Ferrex take?
- 20V mini chainsaw CCS20VA — 6" (154 mm) bar, 0.300" (7.62 mm) pitch, .043" gauge, 27 drive links. Alpine 300-43-S-27. This is not a 1/4" or 3/8" chain; those pitches will not run on this bar.
- 53 cc CSP5300 — .325" pitch, .058" (1.5 mm) gauge, 72 drive links on the 18" bar, 76 on the 20". Alpine EN58.
- 6-in-1 multi-tool pole saw — 10" bar, 3/8" low profile, .050" gauge, 39 drive links. Alpine LT50-S-39.

Which chain fits the ALDI Ferrex 20V mini chainsaw?
A 6" (154 mm) loop with 0.300" (7.62 mm) pitch, .043" gauge and 27 drive links — Alpine 300-43-S-27. Count the drive links on your old chain before ordering: 27 is the factory bar; if your count differs, send us the number and we will match it.
Which chain fits the Ferrex 53 cc petrol chainsaw?
.325" pitch, .058" (1.5 mm) gauge, 72 drive links on the 18" bar or 76 on the 20" — Alpine EN58-S-72 or EN58-S-76, the same spec as an Oregon 21BPX.
Can I use an Oregon or Stihl chain on a Ferrex?
On the CSP5300 and the pole saw, yes — they run standard .325" .058" and 3/8" low profile .050" chain. The 20V mini chainsaw runs a 0.300" pitch loop that neither Oregon's nor Stihl's homeowner ranges cover, which is why we stock it.
