EGO Chainsaw Chains
Replacement chain for EGO 56V chainsaws and pole saws — the CS1400, CS1600, CS1610E, CS1800, CS1810E and CS2000E rear-handles, the CSX3000 and CSX5000 commercial saws, and the PS1000, PSA1000 and PSX2500 pole saws. Alpine chain is semi-chisel, made to the same pitch, gauge and drive-link count as the EGO loop it replaces, so it runs on the same bar and sprocket. Every order is checked against your saw model before it ships; that is the Guaranteed Fit.
Which chain does your EGO take?
- 3/8" low profile, .043" (1.1 mm) gauge — CS1400 / CS1401 14" (52 drive links), CS1600 / CS1604 and CS1610E / CS1611E 16" (56; the CS1610E also runs 52 on a 14" bar), CSX3000 / CSX3002 12" top-handle (45), and the PSA1000 and PSX2500 / PPSX2505 pole saw attachments 10" (40). Alpine LT43.
- 3/8" low profile, .050" (1.3 mm) gauge — CS1800 / CS1804 and CS1810E / CS1814E 18" (62) and CS2000E / CS2006E 20" (69). Alpine LT50.
- .325" pitch, .050" gauge — CSX5000 commercial 20" (78). Alpine EN50.
- 1/4" pitch, .043" gauge — PS1000 pole saw 10" (56). Alpine NN43.
If the stamp is gone, follow the measuring guide or send us a photo and the model number; we confirm the size before anything ships.
EGO chain by model
Every row is one bar length on one saw: match the drive-link count and the pitch × gauge to the stamp on your bar, then click the Alpine chain to order. Each order is checked against the saw model before it ships — the Guaranteed Fit.

EGO chain questions
Which chain fits the EGO 16" chainsaw?
The CS1600 / CS1604 and CS1610E / CS1611E run 3/8" low profile, .043" gauge with 56 drive links — Alpine LT43-S-56, the same spec as an Oregon 90PX-56. The 14" CS1400 / CS1401 takes the 52-link loop, LT43-S-52.
Do the 18" and 20" EGO saws use the same chain as the 14" and 16"?
No. The gauge changes: the 18" CS1800 / CS1810E and the 20" CS2000E run .050" (1.3 mm) chain, 62 and 69 drive links (Alpine LT50-S-62 and LT50-S-69). A .043" loop off a 14" or 16" EGO will not seat in their bars.
Does the EGO PS1000 pole saw take the same chain as the PSA1000?
No. The PS1000 runs 1/4" pitch, .043" gauge, 56 drive links (Alpine NN43-S-56). The PSA1000 attachment and the commercial PSX2500 run 3/8" low profile, .043", 40 drive links (LT43-S-40). Both have 10" bars, so check the pitch before ordering.
Which chain fits the EGO CSX5000 commercial saw?
.325" pitch, .050" gauge, 78 drive links on the 20" bar — Alpine EN50-S-78, the same spec as an Oregon 20BPX-78.
Can I use an Oregon chain on my EGO?
Yes, matched on spec: Oregon 90PX = Alpine LT43 (14" and 16" saws, CSX3000, PSA1000 / PSX2500), 91PX = LT50 (18" and 20" saws), 20BPX = EN50 (CSX5000).
