EGO CS2000E Chain Questions
What size chain does an EGO CS2000E take?
3/8" LP pitch, .050" (1.3mm) gauge, 69 drive links, on its standard 20" bar.
How many drive links is a CS2000E chain?
69 drive links on the standard 20" bar. If you're unsure, the DL count is usually stamped on the bar itself, or count the drive links on your old chain.
What file do I use on a CS2000E chain?
A 4.0mm round file suits this 3/8" LP chain.
Is 69 drive links right for a 20" bar?
Yes. EGO specifies 69 drive links for the CS2000E's 50cm (20") bar, which is an unusual count, so a generic 20" 3/8" LP chain may not fit. This loop is cut to EGO's count.
Will this chain fit other EGO saws?
Possibly, but please use our Search by Chainsaw tool to find your specific saw chain with no doubt.
Is this a genuine EGO chain?
No — it's an Alpine Chain Co. chain manufactured to fit the CS2000E, replacing the EGO AC2005. Same pitch, gauge and drive link count, with a semi-chisel profile chosen for Australian hardwood. Every fit is backed by our Guaranteed Fit system.
How to Verify Your Chain Size
If you are unsure if this is the correct chain for your EGO CS2000E, check the side of your current guide bar. The Pitch, Gauge, and Drive Link (DL) count are typically stamped directly into the bar near the mounting bolts.
